Responsibilities:The Gift Management department is looking to hire a Database Records Specialist. Performs data entry and maintains the donor database integrity. Enters data related to donations, gifts, and donor information in Salesforce. Analyzes gifts to determine which campaign, appeal, or research program the donations should be designated. Verifies and categorizes gift details by gift type, biographical information (honor, honored party, notified party), and research designation. Runs reports, researches the Internet, and uses print directories as needed. Prepares daily receipts and notifications to donors and honored parties and/or families.
Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma (or GED) or equivalent education and experience. Must have experience with MS Office Suite (Word and Excel). Strong communication and customer service skills, superb attention to detail and a high-degree of accuracy, ability to multi-task and work independently essential.
Preferred Qualifications:Prefer one (1) year of data entry experience. Experience with SalesForce or other CRMs is preferred.
Work Hours:Typically, Monday through Friday from 8:30AM to 5:00PM.
