Day Packer - Specialty Produce : Job Details

The primary responsibility for the Day Packer role is to efficiently pick and pack orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively withina team.Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently assemble and pack assigned orders in a timely manner.
• Ensure packed items are adequately secured, labeled, and Staged for Driver pick-up and delivery.
• Maintains a high level of accuracy when packing orders, ensuring precision in every detail.
• Utilize packing materials efficiently and responsibly to minimize waste and reduce costs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
• As needed, Assist in inventory counts, restocking shelves, and organizing products within the warehouse.
• Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to promote a secure working environment.

Job Qualifications:

Educational Requirement-High school diploma or equivalent educational attainment.

Relevant Experience-Preferred, though not mandatory, prior experience in a picker/packer setting

Adaptability with Technology-Proficiency or willingness to learn and operate packer systems using tablets.
