Day Shift Loaf Grinder Operator - Bongards Creameries : Job Details

That's how innovation happens.Position Summary:Bongards is looking for an energetic, motivated and dedicated individuals to join our production team as a Grinder Operator on our Day Shift Loaf Line.Job duties:

• Opening of all barrels and blocks of cheese used for grinding.
• Recording of weights and other pertinent information.
• Making sure cheese is clean before going to the grinder.
• Feeding and the operation of the grinder.
• Communicate with the cooker operator, blend set-up, and leadperson.
• Work in a safe and proficient manner (Lockout/Tagout of grinder)
• Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Forklift driving as necessary.
• Must report all food safety and quality concerns to immediate supervisor or their designated replacement.
• All other duties as assigned by the supervisor or leadperson.

Other Requirements:

• Must demonstrate excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to read and follow written instructions.
• Must adhere to and follow all Safety, GMP, and other quality guidelines.

Physical Capabilities:

• Able to manipulate and move 500 pound barrels
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs.
