What we are looking for:WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:We're seeking a Team player with a whatever-it-takes approach to join our team! In this full-time role, you'll be responsible for leading a team and ensuring the company remains in compliance with both internal company standards and applicable laws. As a Physical Asset Specialist, you'll provide hands-on troubleshooting in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, dry walling, exterior/interior structure, tiling, masonry, and appliances.WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:•Interview, train, coach, and manage people and special projects•Encourage and build positive relationships with all team members, customers, and vendors•Ensure all Southern Management policies, procedures, and internal quality control standards are always upheld•Monitor project and activities to ensure product and service quality•Maintain and schedule all work and materials•Perform in the capacity of a Service Manager/Project Supervisor when needed•Perform technical responsibilities as necessary•Schedule, conduct and document regular meetings with Service Manager and team members•Schedule and manage appropriate contracts•Provide high levels of service expertise to all customers and team members•Aid in preparation of annual budget and community E-PHAD•Respond in emergency situations, as needed•Stay abreast of industry trends•Demonstrate behaviors that cultivate a positive work culture•Contribute to community and company engagement efforts•Perform other duties as assigned by DirectorJOB KNOWLEDGE SKILLS:•Exceptional understanding of plumbing systems and accessories•Understand Electricity and components up to 480V 3 Phase•Understand air flow and thermodynamics•Ability to perform all service duties•Excellent written and verbal communication skills•Outstanding interpersonal skills•Exceptional customer service skills•Ability to effectively lead, coach, and motivate•High-level critical thinking skills•Knowledge of current applicable laws•Strong organizational skills•Adaptability and flexibility in fast paced environments•Ability to keep neat and accurate records•Knowledge of contract requirements•Understanding of Advanced mechanical and mathematical principles•Aptitude with Microsoft Word and Excel•Experience with Yardi, Gracehill, and Halogen/Saba software products•Willing to travel•Ability to assess foundation, roof, wall, floors, and water concerns•Other duties assigned by Director of Physical Asset ServicesSummary of Benefits:Your wages are only part of the employment equation.
