How you will create an impact

The DDI Solutions Architect will be responsible for DNS, DHCP and IPAM Network Infrastructures globally. This will include architecture / design, implementing and maintaining a large and complex global environment.

• Design and architecture of a global BlueCat DDI network infrastructure.
• Lead architect responsible for designing, developing, and managing a large and complex deployment of DNS, DHCP and IPAM infrastructure to meet the organization's business needs.
• Responsible for managing address allocations and integrity of the data in the IPAM, ARIN, RIPE, APNIC and Domain Registrars.
• Recommend network improvements, including cost/benefit analysis, to meet changing business requirements.
• Development of service and technology standards across the network footprint.
• Partner with vendors to select appropriate technical solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop consensus, drive results, and execute projects across the organization on time and within budget.
• Manage several simultaneous projects from conception through implementation.
• Develop and maintain standards and designs for DDI network infrastructure and global IP registrars.
• Articulate design rationale, flexibly adapt solutions, and iterate designs when required.
• Work closely with senior management, and network engineering and operations teams.
• Enhance efficiency via automation when and wherever possible.
• Act as an escalation engineer for high severity network-related production issues, working with engineers and various vendors to identify tactical and strategic solutions.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or related field, such as Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of proven experience designing, deploying, and managing large-scale BlueCat DDI (DNS, DHCP and IPAM), project delivery with focus on performance optimization and scalability.
• BlueCat DDI Platform Certifications are required.
• Experience with Microsoft DDI and Open-source DDI (ISC BIND and ISC DNS, etc.).
• Experience implementing and managing DNS Security Extensions (DNSSEC).
• Deep understanding of network architecture designs with in-depth knowledge of DNS, NTP, IPAM, BIND, and DHCP.
• Ability to interpret DNS query and DHCP lease metrics to identify trends, problems, and/or opportunities to optimize performance and/or enhance security.
• Knowledge on network management and monitoring platforms.
• Sharp troubleshooting faculties, deductive reasoning, and careful attention to detail.
• Independent and self-directed work ethic when participating in a collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Dedicated commitment to service availability and quality user experience.
• Must be results-driven with a strong sense of urgency.

For positions based in New York, the base salary range is $105,000-$148,000. For positions based in Jersey City, the base salary range is $99,000-$143,000. In addition, the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. We're proud to offer a range of competitive benefits.
