- Strong understanding of Basic Accounting Principles
- Experience in Accounting
- Experience with General Ledger Functions
- Strong Attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Problem solving skills.
- Experience in a dealership accounting setting is required.
- Experience with Dealertrack DMS is strongly preferred but not required.
Experience in the following areas is greatly needed:
- Daily bank deposit
- Payables/Receivables
- Stocking in Vehicle Inventory
- Basic Accounting Principles
- Maintain and perform data entry accurately with multiple spreadsheets.
- Day-to-day work will include journal entries, transactional accounting, and account reconciliations.
Desired Skills
- Strong PC skills- Microsoft Office (word, excel, and outlook).
- Professional communication skills with staff, customers and vendors required.
- Have an excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Accuracy and timeliness are mandatory.
