About the Role

The Company is seeking a Dean for its School of Law, a mission-driven institution dedicated to expanding opportunities in the legal profession and preparing a diverse group of students for leadership roles. The successful candidate will be the chief academic and administrative officer, responsible for creating an environment of academic excellence, supervising daily operations, and leading the school in meeting and exceeding ABA standards. As a bold, visionary, and collaborative leader, the Dean will be tasked with strategic planning, fundraising, and maintaining the school's commitment to serving the underserved. This includes overseeing the school's assessment activities, developing long-term goals, and ensuring that the infrastructure and resources support the school's mission.Applicants for the Dean position at the company's School of Law must have a Juris Doctorate, be licensed to practice law, and have a strong background in administrative leadership, strategic planning, and fundraising. The role requires a leader with high integrity, the ability to embrace change, and a commitment to fairness, learning, integrity, cooperation, and excellence. The Dean will also be expected to have a clear vision for increasing the school's bar passage rate and stature, as well as the ability to foster positive relationships with the legal community and beyond. Experience in curriculum development, compliance with legal standards, and a proven track record in research and grant writing are essential.
