Dedicated Caregivers Needed! - Visiting Angels Upland : Job Details

Description of the role:

Visiting Angels Upland is currently seeking dedicated, caring and compassionate caregivers to join our team of in-home caregivers. As a caregiver for our non-medical in-home care agency, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. This is a daytime shift position that offers flexibility and the ability to work within the Inland Empire.

Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid California driver's license*
  • *MUST BE A CALIFORNIA DRIVERS LICENSE. Out-of-state Driver's License is not acceptable
• A reliable vehicle, and proof of auto insurance where you must be listed as an insured driver
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and screening of your driving record
• Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) – if not registered, we'll assist you with the process!
• Proof of negative TB test - if you need it, we'll pay for it!
• Physical ability to perform the duties required of the role
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
• Two professional, work-related references
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Must be compassionate, patient, and dependable

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration
• Help with light housekeeping tasks, including meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and social activities (if required)
