The company fosters a team-oriented environment that encourages the application of talents with state-of-the-art technology.Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Develop and document manufacturing plans (Job Travelers) for machining, special processing, assembly, and inspection operations.Manage product configuration and oversee configuration change processes.Prepare purchase order requisitions for necessary supplies, materials, and hardware to complete projects.Issue RFQs to suppliers for materials and services required for production.Identify cost-reduction opportunities, enhance manufacturability, and minimize scrap.Collaborate with teams to create and implement systems that optimize all phases of the production process.Support the quality department in investigating non-conformance issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions, while assessing opportunities for process improvement.Maintain routine communication with customers and suppliers to ensure smooth product manufacturing.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
