Duties

* Implement, Sustain and Support the DTS system for the Army. Researches and Resolves issues and or problems in the DTS Systems installation of the required browser plug-in and connectivity, establishment of organizations, groups and routing list.

* Monitors Army Command user information and interprets information to ensure that controls user access to Privacy Act information is protected. and travel documents.

* Assists the organizational DTA with the maintenance of traveler's profiles, organizational data, reporting, budgetary and Routing Lists. document flow procedures.

* Coordinates the Army training program for the DTA personnel and assists the organizational DTA personnel with the training for Authorizing Officials/Certifying Officials (AO/CO), DTA's, travelers and other users.

Qualifications

In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.

Qualifying Experience: To qualify at the GS-09, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position.

For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience in Defense Travel Systems (DTS), assisting with managing traveler's profiles, organizational data, reporting, budgetary and procedures.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience and/or selective placement factor(s) within the body of their resume.

All qualifications must be met at the closing date of this announcement.

Education

GS-9 Substitution of Education for Experience: Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education, Master's or equivalent graduate degree, may be substituted to meet the qualifying experience requirement.

If you are using education to substitute for the qualifying experience, you must submit transcripts at the time you apply.

Equivalent combinations of successfully completed graduate level education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements.

PASS/FAIL COURSES: If more than 10 percent of your undergraduate course work (credit hours) were taken on a pass/fail basis, your claim of superior academic achievement must be based upon class standing or membership in an honor society.

GRADUATE EDUCATION: One academic year of graduate education is considered to be the number of credits hours your graduate school has determined to represent one academic year of full-time study. Such study may have been performed on a full-time or part-time basis. If you cannot obtain your graduate school's definition of one year of graduate study, 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) should be considered as satisfying the requirement for one year of full-time graduate studyTo be creditable, education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university.

You must report only attendance and/or degrees from schools accredited by accrediting institutions that are recognized by the U.S. Department of Education .

Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services at the time of application.
