Responsibilities:

Reporting to the System Director, DEI, the DEI Operations Specialist serves a key role in the execution of action items within Tower Healths DEI Strategic Plan. This role works collaboratively with other departments within the system and provides support to Tower Health's and its hospitals' DEI Councils and Working Groups. The DEI Operations Specialist collects, analyzes, and reports data in support of DEI initiatives.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Conducts research on key DEI topics, programs, and initiatives to advance and support DEI goals
  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of departmental reports and dashboards to track DEI performance
  • Analyzes data and compiles results to share with a wide variety of audiences
  • Prepares data visualizations and narrative-driven presentations to communicate insights to internal and external stakeholders regarding key metrics, relevant comparisons, trends, and drivers
  • Develops effective working relationships with key organizational leaders, individuals, and staff integral to data reporting and improvement to support DEI related project efforts across the system
  • Develops data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of data
  • Identifies opportunities for process enhancements and improvements to increase effectiveness and efficiency of reporting
  • Utilizes data to develop insights and recommendations for business decisions
  • Organizes data, conducts analysis, and completes submissions for external industry surveys
  • Serves as a subject matter expert in data management and analysis for various system-wide DEI initiatives
  • Provides support for ad hoc reporting related to Tower Health's DEI programs and initiatives
  • Supports the planning and execution of DEI programming (in person and virtual) across the Tower Health System
  • Serves as internal partner to hospital DEI Councils in support of local DEI initiatives

Qualifications:

Education Requirements

  • 4 year Bachelor's Degree - OR - combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree
