SummaryThe primary responsibility is to manufacture animal food in accordance with standard operating procedures established in the feed mill. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supports Allen Harim's vision, mission and values
  • Operate the automation system
  • Project animal of animal food required for each farm
  • Take farm inventories and out of animal food
  • Communicate with service techs regarding farm issues, moving schedules, etc.
  • Sample ingredients and performs quality assurance tests
  • Collect animal food samples in accordance with sampling plan
  • Monitor production down times and out of animal food
  • Work with panel operator and dispatcher to schedule production
  • Assist with production scheduling, inventory planning and control
  • Determine proper routing and distribution of manufactured animal food
  • Comply with all company policies
  • Comply with all local, state, and Federal laws and regulations
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
  • A minimum requirement of a high school degree or equivalent
  • Understanding of food hazards
  • Knowledge of feed manufacturing equipment operation and maintenance
Knowledge/Skills
  • MS Office skills-Basic
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must possess strong problem resolution skills.
  • Must be able to deliver business results under pressure while championing performance improvement
  • Must have expert customer service skills with a focus on problem resolution to complex issues.
