ApplyDescriptionJob Title: Delivery Driver and Warehouse SupportLocation: Grand Rapids, MIFLSA Status: Non-ExemptReports to: Customer Concierge SupervisorSupervises: N/APurpose of the Job:The purpose of this job is to process, load and deliver client materials within an agreed upon time frame. As the face of Imperial Graphics, this position will work to build strong relationships with our customers by delivering exceptional customer service.Job Functions and Performance Standards:* Transporting and delivering goods and/or items to GGR client businesses in a safe, timely manner* Examining and/or reviewing orders before and after delivery to make sure that orders are complete, and clients are satisfied* Helping with the loading and unloading of materials from the delivery vehicle* Building and maintaining a healthy relationship with clients by answering any questions they may have and handling their complaints/concerns* Rescheduling deliveries with customers if they are unable to receive them* Keep vehicle clean and well maintained* Perform cycle counting on warehoused product in ensure accuracy between system and physical inventory* Consolidate warehouse inventory when gaps appear to reduce transactional pull time.* Monitor inventory reports for overdue/obsolete inventory and report finding to the Customer Experience team* Maintain a clean and professional appearance while wearing an Imperial Graphics uniform/hat* Be an ambassador for the Imperial Graphic's products and services by educating customers* Build vendor relationships as part of pick-up and delivery of client materials* Provide back-up support to the pick/pack process as needed in support of Imperial Graphics materialsWork Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.* Noise level in the work environment is usually lowRequirementsEducation:* High school diploma or equivalentLicenses/Certifications:* Driver's License with a clean driving recordExperience:* Two years' experience driving commercially or as a delivery driver preferred* Two years' warehouse experience and previous forklift experience preferredSkills:* Computer skills - knowledge and ability to use computerized software and systems relevant to warehousing preferred* Knowledge of basic warehouse procedures like receiving and storing preferred* Strong organizational skills* Strong communication skills* Basic problem-solving skills* Detail oriented* Ability to meet deadlines* Ability to understand and follow direction* Possesses a drive for change and improvement* Desire to be part of a collaborative and close team* Encourage a positive environmentPhysical Demands: The Physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
