Key to success in the role include an excellent driving record, good customer service skills and strong attention to detail.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES· Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner· Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied · Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles· Accepting payments for delivered items, if needed.· Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients· Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules· Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record· Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries· Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.· Follow all safety rules and regulations while on the road and off the road· Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC's vision and unity of purpose.· Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as requiredQUALIFICATIONS What You Need:· High School Diploma or equivalent required.· Good work history· Driver's License· Physical requirements - ability to sit, stand, and lift 25 - 75 pounds on a regular basis. Bonus Points If You Have:· Previous industrial or vending experience is a plus.· Route driving: 1 year preferred. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity.
