Delivery Driver - Class B CDL - Hi-Vac Corporation : Job Details

Hi-Vac Corporation, a leader in heavy equipment manufacturing, is seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to transport our product lines to customers. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring timely and safe deliveries, representing Hi-Vac with professionalism while adhering to safety standards. You will be responsible for driving a truck with a Class B CDL, ensuring all equipment arrives in perfect condition, and supporting Hi-Vac's commitment to customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport heavy equipment products to customers.
• Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely and efficient manner while adhering to customer schedules.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safe operating conditions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery records, including shipping paperwork and logs.
• Communicate effectively with customers and the logistics team to ensure smooth delivery operations.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations, including those related to the transportation of heavy equipment.
• Be comfortable flying as part of job requirements, when necessary, to reach destinations.
• Maintain a clean driving record and meet all company safety standards.
• Ensure equipment is securely loaded and unloaded, handling all products with care.

Requirements:

• Valid Class B CDL with Tanker Endorsement.
• Ability to provide required documentation to maintain CDL capability.
• A clean driving record with a history of safe driving practices.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
• Comfortable with occasional travel by air for job-related deliveries.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs independently and work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
