Delivery Driver - Acme Smoked Fish : Job Details

As a part of the Acme Smoked Fish fleet team, you will deliver packaged goods to Acme customers throughout the tri-state area. You will follow all traffic and transportation laws and guidelines and will provide exceptional customer service as appropriate.What You Will Do at Acme:* You will drive 16 - 26 ft box truck for deliveries throughout the tri-state area.* Ability to work in cold environment, assemble, palletize and move orders via pallet jack.* Must have a can do attitude and want to be part of a team.* Must be able to follow directions and communicate clearly.* Assist with order packing as necessary.* Additional duties as assigned within packing/shipping/deliveries.About YouYour Education & Experience:* High School diploma or Equivalent.* Clean driving record.* Valid license and DOT medical card* Must be able to lift 25lb+* Must be at least 21 years of age.* Ability to work in cold temperature environments for long periods of time.Your Skills & Abilities:* Excellent work history, showing positive attendance and tenure.* Previous delivery driving experience preferred.* Ability to work and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.Physical Requirements:* The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach out with the body, arms or legs to perform job tasks.* Must be able to reach above and below shoulder height to move products.* Ability to climb stairs; this includes the ability to move throughout all areas of the facility.* The ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects using hands, arms, back, abdominal muscles, shoulders, legs, or a combination of these muscle groups.* The ability to wear all necessary personal protective equipment to perform job duties.* The ability to work in cold (32 to 45*F) and wet environment.* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.Health & Safety Requirements:* Valid Medical DOT card.* Follows EHS, GMP, HR and other company policies.* Wear required PPE.* Follow mandated OSHA regulations.* Report all incidents including near misses immediately.What's In It For You:Eligibility for Medical; Dental; Vision; 401k; Company Sponsored Group Term Life; Voluntary Life; PTO, Paid Family Leave.Compensation Range: $18.00/hr starting wage.
