Delivery driver - Pacific Pickle Works : Job Details

Pacific Pickle Works is looking for a hard-working person with a great attitude to do regional deliveries (LA, SB, SLO) 1.5 to 2 days per week. This position is part time hourly. See the following details:Position Title: Delivery DriverReports to: Sales and Service Manager - Santa BarbaraHours: Varies and somewhat flexible: Typically Thurs, 7:30am - 4:00pm, Fri 8:00am - 12:00pm (occasional need for overtime depending on workload)Additional hours potentially available packing Amazon mail order boxesWage: Hourly (DOE)

• Ability to foster positive working relationships and collaborate with management team
• Ability to manage positive relationships with wholesale customers as well as other vendor suppliers
• Ability to make good judgements on how to handle situations in the absence of direct supervision
• Ability to lift and heavy boxes, 5 gallon (50 lb) buckets. THIS IS IMPORTANT AND FREQUENT.
• Valid Driver's License, clean driving record, clear understanding and respect of state traffic laws and safety codes. This is a MUST - we have to run a check on your driver's license, of it is not clean, do not apply.
• Experience driving a cargo delivery van (Sprinter or similar) a plus.
• Must be lightly computer savvy as working with basic websites is essential

• Process and prepare wholesale customer orders - taking pride in the quality of presentation of product
• Drive and make delivery stops for up to 8 hours in one delivery day, possibility of overtime
• Make deliveries to local stores on a regular route between Los Angeles and Paso Robles, on a weekly or biweekly basis
• Foster or maintain successful, positive relationships with local vendors, grocery accounts and customers
• Monitor all mail orders and wholesale orders from our online systems, ensuring that they are all fulfilled in a timely manner
• Maintain delivery vehicle, keep clean inside and out at all times
