Delivery Driver - Dow technologies : Job Details

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver. This role is essential for the timely and safe delivery of our products from DOW's distribution center to our valued customers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, physical strength, good communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

*Full Time Position-Hourly Position w/ some overtime as needed-

*Benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision and 401k with company match. Company paid basic life insurance and long term disability.

*Paid Time Off and 6 company paid holiday's.

*Non-DOT position - No overnight driving- local delivery's with in 3-4 hours from our location and back same day.

Primary Job Duties:

• Safely operate a 14'-16' box truck to deliver DOW's products to residential and commercial locations.
• Adhere to all transportation laws and company policies while driving.
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
• Communicate with customers pre-delivery with your estimated time of arrival of their order.
• Assisting with loading, transporting, and unloading large and heavy items from truck using additional equipment, such as forklifts, hand trucks and dollies, as needed.
• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including pictures and obtain customer signatures as required.
• Establish and maintain outstanding relationships with customers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any delivery-related inquiries or issues.

Required Qualifications: To be qualified for this position, you must:

• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug test and maintain a clean criminal background.
• Abide by all company and department policies and procedures.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Punctuality, good attendance, and excellent time management skills are required.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to grasp, sit, stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach on a daily basis.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to100 pounds and push/pull heavy loads up to 500 pounds using equipment in a physical environment.
• Ability to sit and drive safely for up to 8-12 hours a day or as workload permits.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

Compensation details: 19-19 Hourly Wage
