Our Delivery Hub Manager leads and supports our Customer Experience, Operations and Vehicle teams within the Delivery Hub. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering an impeccable delivery experience to each and every Tesla customer, while coaching and preparing the location team members to meet the dynamic needs of our customers and beyond.Your success will be measured by consistently achieving quarterly goals, establishing efficient teams, implementing operational standards, and driving strategic business planning. This role requires someone that is personable, energetic, highly organized, and hard working. Individuals should have a passion for electric vehicles and should enjoy working with a team. This pivotal role directly contributes to Tesla's mission by providing customers with an outstanding and memorable delivery experience.Responsibilities
  • Build effective teams through proactive training, coaching, and talent recruitment in order to achieve delivery goals.
  • Ensure accountability through performance management by setting and enforcing clear team and individual targets
  • Represent Tesla professionally in internal and external communications
  • Create operational standards by developing an exceptional customer delivery experience and managing local delivery pipelines and scheduling
  • Drive strategic business planning by collaborating with the Sales Team to manage customer expectations and address escalations
  • Collaborate with the Service Team on vehicle repairs and rectifications
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to meet business need
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, and at least 5 years' work experience in Retail Leadership or Operations Management in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated self-starter who possesses exceptional time-management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and adhere to business-critical deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships with an ethical approach to management and operations
  • Experience running complex processes using Lean or other techniques, as well as strong and proven experience leading field teams in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment with strong customer facing responsibilities
  • Valid driver's license required. For roles working in CA, CO, HI, ID, MD, MS, NV, NC, OH, PA, TN, UT, VA, DC: This role requires you to possess a Motor Vehicle Salesperson License issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles. Without the salesperson license, you cannot engage in sales activities. To check if you are eligible for the salesperson license, please contact the DMV in your state of employment
  • For roles working in AZ, GA, HI, IA, IN, NC, NJ, NM, NY, OH, PA, VT, WA: Notary license is preferred. Should notary support be required of this role, Tesla will provide assistance with obtaining a license
