Our Dementia Care Assistants are responsible for:

• Spending time with individual residents talking, walking or engaging in an activity together.
• Working with a small group of residents on a program
• Providing regular check-ins with residents in the neighborhood to ensure safety and well-being.
• Assisting the team (and includes interested residents as able) in kitchen and meal tasks.
• Assisting the team by performing laundry tasks

Our Dementia Care Assistants are required to:

• Be a minimum of 18 years of age
• Have a high school diploma or GED or provide documentation that the GED or high school diploma will be received within 6 months of hire
• Be able to effectively interact with residents, resident families, and team members
