Dental Assistant - Joseph Lichter D.D.S. : Job Details

We are looking for a full-time, healthcare professional who will assist in the success of a growing Dental practice. Technical Skills: Requires comprehensive knowledge of multiple procedures and the equipment and instruments necessary in each procedure. The knowledge consists of: Taking proficient x-rays. Working a Panorex and CT scan. Taking impressions with an Itero scan. Perform Zoom whitening system. Dental Numbering system. Dental terminology. Clinical Support: Actively participate in daily morning huddles. Dental Assistants must: Be proficient at entering all patient documentation into the Electronic Dental Record. Enter accurate and complete treatment plans for presentation by the treatment coordinator. Direct the Doctor accordingly to maximize efficacy. Maintain a smooth patient workflow with the front office staff and clinical teams to promote timely and exceptional patient experience. Teamwork Skills: Dental Assistant jobs are best for people who thrive in a team. In this job, you will be working side-by-side with the dentist, dental hygienists, office managers, and the office dental assistants. You should be able to provide assistance to anyone in any department. People Skills: One of the most important roles of Dental Assistants is making patients feel comfortable.
