Description:We are looking for a part time (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) Dental Assistant to work with our awesome GP dentists! Patient experience is our top priority, and we strive to 'WOW' our patients, as well as each other.Benefits401k planHealth insurance, including vision and complimentary dental (within company guidelines)2 weeks PTO7 paid holidaysLife insuranceBonus and commission potentialLong-term and short-term disability optionsCE opportunitiesKey ResponsibilitiesPrepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.Prepares patient for dental treatment.Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area.Provides diagnostic information by exposing and developing radiographic studies, pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts.Fabricates restorations; cleans and polishes removable appliances.Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification.Educates patients by giving oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions.Documents dental care services by charting in patient recordsMaintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.Ensures operation of dental equipmentMaintains dental supplies inventory.#indeedwavedpRequirements:Education and TrainingRDA license or DA certificate REQUIREDMinimum one-year related experience and /or training; or equivalent of combination of education and experience in the dental profession.Valid X-ray certificate.Current license if CDA, RDA, or EFDA (per state requirements).CPR & first aid certificate.FLSA Status: HourlyReports to: Operations Manager
