Histology Assistant - Houston Healthcare : Job Details

Work Shift:Day - 8 Hour (United States of America)A caring health system dedicated to excellence - today and tomorrow.The Histology Assistant performs various tasks in histology including, but not limited to, glassware preparation, specimen storage and disposal, supply maintenance and ordering. Prepares tissue and body fluid specimens for examination by the Pathologist. Assists the histology technicians and/or Pathologists in routine staining, grossing, FNA, slide labeling, filing slides and blocks, picking up specimens from various departments, and assists with Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
