Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for oral health education, excellent patient care skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality preventive dental services. Key Responsibilities Patient Care: Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and stain removal. Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride or sealants. Examine patients' oral health and identify signs of disease, decay, or other abnormalities. Patient Education: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of preventive care. Provide guidance on diet and oral care products. Clinical Support: Take and develop dental X-rays. Record and maintain accurate patient charts and medical histories. Assist dentists with procedures and provide chairside support as needed. Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols. Ensure compliance with dental practice policies, state regulations, and licensing requirements. Qualifications and Requirements Education: Dental Hygiene from an accredited program. Licensure: Current state licensure as a Dental Hygienist. Experience: Previous experience in a dental office is preferred but not required. Skills: Proficiency in using dental tools and equipment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to patient care. Work Environment Comfortable, well-equipped dental office environment. Requires standing for extended periods and manual dexterity.
