Deposit Operations Specialist - The First Bank : Job Details

Job Summary: The primary responsibility of this job is to ensure that various duties associated with Deposit Operations are performed completely, accurately, and in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Process garnishments, levies, subpoenas, and account holds. Communicate with and provide data to branch personnel and bank attorneys as needed.

* Perform Public Fund account maintenance to include rate changes, wiring of funds, and interest adjustments as needed.

* Perform duties associated with CDARS as needed, to include loading of new and renewed accounts, performing required transactions, transfer of interest, and monthly reporting.

* Perform escheating and dormant account maintenance as required.

* Perform IRA review to ensure codes and documentation are correct.

* Assist with gathering required data for the call report.

* Assist with IOLTAs and 945 withholdings as needed.

* Assist branch personnel as needed.

* Other duties as required.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

* Minimum of a high school education is required.

* Close attention to detail and good organizational skills required.

* Previous banking experience is preferred but not required.

* Must have strong Microsoft Office skills.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
