We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Banking Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will support operational processing, account maintenance, and special projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with banking regulations. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, possesses strong organizational skills, and has experience in Retail Banking or Bank Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process operational tasks related to online accounts.
• Perform account maintenance using the PEGA System Maintenance Inbox, adhering to a 48-hour SLA.
• Conduct monthly reviews of duplicate CIF records.
• Prepare reports on FDIC uninsured accounts as needed.
• Collaborate with the Treasury Department on institutional accounts.
• Configure core system parameters in Jack Henry.
• Support the setup of sweep accounts and special projects.
• Cross-train to provide departmental coverage when required.
• Complete assigned annual training programs and additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in Retail Banking or Bank Operations (2 years preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
• Strong understanding of banking regulations, attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and work independently.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to present to all levels of the organization.
• Adaptable, flexible, and comfortable handling ambiguity and new tasks.
