Posting DetailsPosition Information Position Title Deputy Athletic Director Job Description - Provides leadership to assigned intercollegiate athletics functions, including but not limited to external operations, medical services, risk management, student-athlete welfare, athletic conference compliance, academic success, human resources, Title IX compliance, revenue generation, facility operations, business operations, marketing, communications and engagement.-Develops and administers policies and procedures in order to ensure compliance with NCAA and other athletic conference rules, regulations and risk management procedures and protocols to minimize the risk of liability.- Collaborates with University offices and community agencies in order to effectively manage assigned functions.- Supervises staff and student employees. Resolves personnel and operational issues.- Provides direct supervision to selected sports teams. Ensures fiscal soundness and compliance with intercollegiate rules, regulations and procedures.- Oversees the Division of Intercollegiate Athletics in absence of the Director.- Assists the Athletic Director in supervising the athletic programs including recommending policies and procedures relating to the athletic programs.- Assists the Athletic Director in the development of an annual budget and its implementation.- Assists the Athletic Director in coordination of support personnel for all athletic contests, including game management, ticket sales, security, athletic trainer and emergency personnel and apparatus.- Assists the Athletic Director in the supervision of the athletic coaches.- Implements and monitors usage of the Athletic Code of conduct.- Assists the Athletic Director in the supervision of all contests.- Assists the Athletic Director in ensuring that all applicable laws and regulations relating to athletics are applied and followed, including Title IX and other federal laws and regulations, state laws and regulations.- Serve as the Senior Women Administrator- Responsible to carry out all other duties assigned by the Athletic DirectorRequired Qualifications
- Five years' relevant experience.
- Supervisory experience.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of intercollegiate athletic programs, rules and regulations.
