Deputy Director of Capital Engineering - EmergencyMD : Job Details

PRIMARY DUTY: This position leads, manages, plans, and supervises direct assigned staff, programs, activities, operations, and long-range planning related to city-wide capital engineering goals as stipulated by City Council, city management, and the department director. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program, Construction Management, or Construction Science.

Seven years progressively responsible experience in civil engineering, project management, capital projects, and inspection processes.

At least two years of supervisory experience required.

Any combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered. CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED:

Registration as a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas in good standing.

Valid Class C Texas Driver License with a good driving record.

Candidates without licensure in Texas will be required to obtain a Texas license within six months. #J-18808-Ljbffr
