Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Deputy Regional Manager to join our team in Oahu, HI with a proven record of IT support and leadership driving IT physical deployments with mandated timelines. The successful candidate will be responsible to manage all aspects of multiple disciplines in the IT function. Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct staff to resolve issues to ensure goals and requirements are met. Supervises the daily activities of technicians and/or production teams. Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion. Has supervisory responsibilities and is a working leader.
A highly successful candidate will have a 8570 Level II certification, such as Security+ CE and experience delivering multiple IT services, such as: connectivity, Networking, Video Teleconferencing, AVMM, Cabling, Telephony, LMR, desktop services and others with a strong sense of urgency and demonstrating excellent team organizational skills across multiple technology disciplines.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The Deputy Regional Manager is responsible for aiding in the management and hands-on support as needed to all activities within the region, by providing leadership and direction to a multi-faceted team of technicians providing IT support to multiple sites in these service categories, but not limited to: Desktop support, AVMM\VTC, CAN management, telephony, TV services, cabling/infrastructure, patch management in a thin/thick client/laptop environment, and break/fix efforts with associated Service Level Agreements for completion times.
This role will require close coordination with Senior Leadership, and more so, in the absence of the Regional Manager to support the development and maintenance of operational processes and the ability to manage resources to meet Service Level Agreements and maintain budget objectives.
The individual will serve as a Manager/Leader for both technical and non-technical personnel, and lower-level managers. The total team size is approximately 15 FTEs with work centers in 2 locations on island and on occasion will directly/indirectly account for small TDY teams visiting the region and serve as a senior advisor to members assigned to other operational Frames.
Participates in interview, contributing to hiring decisions, enforcing work roles, and establishing both training and operational processes to ensure adequate human resources to meet the challenges of the region.
May submits regular reports on daily operations, refresh efforts, and project management and delivers or oversees training to maintain adequate human resources to meet regional challenges.
Submits and approves travel requests, to support regional needs and coordinates with government officials to present or clarify support requirements.
Serves as the Alternate POC to address regional customer concerns, publishes work schedules and on-call rosters and collaborates with other Regional Managers to pool resources as needed.
Tracks productivity to determine worker or process weaknesses, onboards new employees and enforces compliance standards for both the customer and ManTech.
Sets goals and evaluate employee performance and provides direct and indirect feedback to subcontractors temporarily assigned to the region, as required.
Provides close communication and collaboration with customers, senior leaders, and other ManTech management personnel.
This is a working manager position
Basic Qualifications:
Able to support travel as needed to support operational objectives. Travel opportunities available as desired in support of wider program objectives, and learning in other areas of program support may be available
Five years experience delivering IT services (primarily hardware)
Position generally requires a four-year degree, but can be substituted with additional experience
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to interface with the customer daily and explain complex technical topics to both internal and external customers with ease.
Must have a 8570 Level II certification, such as Security+ CE
Preferred Qualifications:
Seven years of hands-on hardware deployment experience supporting network, end-user, conference room and other IT services
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
