Position Overview: As a Design Build Team Member, you will be integral to the implementation of landscape installations according to design plans and specifications. Working as part of a team, you will utilize your skills in landscape installation, proficiency with hand tools, and ability to interpret design plans to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail, adherence to timelines and budgets, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Essential Functions:

  • Utilize hand tools such as pick, shovel, bed edgers, trimmers, cultivators, pruners, loppers, blowers, weed whippers, chainsaws, pole pruners, and ladders proficiently and safely.
  • Perform landscape installation functions including layout, planting, grading, hardscape, irrigation, drainage, and horticulture practices.
  • Interpret all aspects of landscape plans and specifications to ensure accurate implementation.
  • Ensure all assignments are completed within labor goals while meeting job quality performance expectations in accordance with company standards.
  • Anticipates needs to complete tasks efficiently within allocated budget, production rates, and timelines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Chauffeur's License or ability to obtain before the first day of employment.
  • Proficiency in the use of basic landscape and relevant tools.
  • Knowledge of seasonal clean-ups, garden bed care, annual flower plantings, bed edging, and mulching.
  • Talent to read plans and blueprints accurately.
  • Capability to follow directions and execute tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
  • Aptitude to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in landscaping installation.
  • Certification or coursework related to landscaping or horticulture.
  • Plant knowledge

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods of time.
