Design Drafter - Eaton Corporation, plc : Job Details

The Design Drafter will report into the Design Services Engineering Manager and work in conjunction with the Product Design team Manager, Design Engineers, and Designers, in revision of Models, & Data. The position will be expected to become proficient in Solid. Works and Enovia. These base tools are used in support of documentation packages, model-based manufacturing, additive manufacturing, assistance to existing product lines, bids & proposals. Additional duties may include continuous improvement tasks as well. Drive process improvements to quality and efficiency in the design process. Participate and assist senior designer(s) and lead engineers with preparation of design review packages (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR, FDR, etc.) for internal/external customers and management. Participate and assist in reviewing legacy drawings and initiate transition to product lifecycle management tool (PLM). Supports Manufacturing and Production with Material Review Board issues.
