Transportation Design Engineer As a Design Engineer on our Transportation Team, you will play a crucial role in designing transportation facilities that shape the landscape. From interstates and interchanges to urban arterials and rural roadways, we are seeking candidates who want to work in a creative and collaborative environment to successfully deliver Muller's numerous transportation projects throughout the Rocky Mountain Region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Create designs for a wide range of transportation facilities, from interstates and interchanges to urban arterials, rural roadways, and multimodal facilities.
- Collaborate with mid-level and senior engineers to prepare studies, reports, and design packages for diverse transportation design and planning projects.
- Take full ownership of projects, from inception to completion, ensuring their success.
- Conduct field observation work when necessary.
Job Requirements
Education and/or Experience Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university, Master's Degree is a plus.
- 0-2 years of experience in transportation engineering design.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with exceptional organizational skills.
- A passion for personal and professional growth within a supportive team environment, working towards designs that align with our clients' project objectives.
- Familiarity with MicroStation/OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or other applicable transportation engineering software engineering is a plus.
- Proficiency of and experience with Microsoft Office products is a plus.
- Hydraulics and/or traffic engineering experience is a plus.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required License or Certification: - Active Engineer Intern (EI) designation in Colorado or another state.

Base salary range for this position is: 70,000.00/yr - 85,000.00/yr dependent on individual education, qualifications, experience, and other factors.
