This individual will mostly work with F-1 VISA students to provide guidance regarding becoming an official student of the university, as well as assisting them with how to obtain and maintain their status. STANDARD EXPECTATIONSResponsibilities include, but not limited to:1. To possess the understanding of and the commitment to the University Mission.2. Utilize the University's CRM and SIS systems to track and manage the funnel of prospective international students. 3. Assist with the recruitment and academic evaluation efforts of international students. Communicate regularly with international students, affiliated agencies, university staff and partners, while working to streamline onboarding processes for these students. 4. Serve as one of the primary points of contact for prospective international students, their parents, and other school officials who work with international students.5. Ensuring that international students who inquire about their admissions status are properly informed of program admissions requirements, and any outstanding documents needed to complete their admissions file.6. Review admissions applications, transcripts, English proficiency test results, and financial capability of international students.7. Manage the reporting of international students, including undergraduate and graduate admissions numbers. Responding to inquiries from international students regarding our academic programs and enrollment steps.8. Maintain and document all correspondence and follow-up communication with students.9. Work with international recruiting agencies as needed to improve best practices. Develop strategies that can help simplify the enrollment and registration processes for international students.10. Process, transfer, enter, sign, and issue various I-20 forms depending upon the specific immigration issue. All related issues will fall under the guidance of the university's PDSO.11. Other duties as assigned.12. Performs other duties/tasks as may be assigned and/or requested by the supervisor and/or superior.13. Participates in and completes a Performance Management Process, which follows the guidelines set forth by the University.DECISION MAKING AND MANAGEMENTPerforms duties and responsibilities with moderate supervision. Makes decisions and establishes work priorities in agreement with supervisor and/or superior. This position has no supervisory responsibilities. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCERequired: Bachelor's degree Preferred: 1 - 2 years work experience in a related field (i.e., college admissions, higher education, or immigration services)QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS1.
