Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Residential Designer with between 5 to 10 years experience, to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong design portfolio, showcasing expertise in custom, modern residential projects. Experience working in the Hamptons is a significant plus, as is proficiency in ArchiCAD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Conceptualization: Lead the design process for custom single-family residences, ensuring that each project meets the client's vision and adheres to high standards of modern aesthetics.
  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide design solutions, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure seamless execution of design plans.
  • Site Visits: Conduct site visits, particularly in the Hamptons, to assess project progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Design Expertise: Strong design portfolio with a focus on custom, modern residential architecture.
  • Hamptons Experience: Previous experience working on residential projects in the Hamptons is highly desirable.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with ArchiCAD is a plus, as well as AutoCAD, Revit and the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Local Presence: While remote work is possible on Tuesdays and Fridays, this is predominantly an in-person role. Candidates should ideally reside within 50 miles of Bridgehampton, NY, but those living further away will be considered if they can commit to traveling to Bridgehampton once a week.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
