Overview As a Designer at Redscout, you drive our project work forward, gathering relevant inspiration, generating multiple ideas and designs that help drive change for our clients. Successful Designers are hungry to lead and play an active role in guiding projects to interesting and unexpected areas. We expect you to be deeply embedded in client work, researching and sketching, and helping to produce the various outputs of a project along the way. This position is for designers looking to pursue a career in brand design. As a Designer, you are responsible for: Project Work & Client Relationships Responsibilities
- Driving a design idea independently
- Understanding client goals and answering the brief
- Engaging critically with all creative and strategic content
- Providing feedback and input on the work where necessary
- Sharing ideas and resources for others to build upon
- Fostering meaningful relationships across all disciplines and levels
Team & Business Management
- Proactively contributing to the project team at large, suggesting new ideas and ways of working
- Identifying blockers or potential challenges in the work and flagging them to the team
- Communicating progress on tasks in a timely way
- Actively participating in cultural and internal initiatives
- Contributing to our outbound presence (e.g. social posts, case study assets)
- Supporting our pitch and proposal design
Qualifications Knowledge and Skills required:
- 3-4 Years of brand design experience; Prior brand design experience required, product design experience not suitable
- Confident in generative ideation and sketching; contributing original thinking to pieces of the work
- Confident presenter to all audiences; capable of presenting key aspects of the work
- Openness to giving and receiving feedback
- Fluent in typography, layout and composition, image making, and systems thinking
- Skilled in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google Workspace
