Designer of branded license related separates and fashion key items to work closely with Design Director, Sales team, & Licensor for Sam's Club, Costco, Amazon, Ross, and Nordstrom Rack.

Girls Categories:

Cut & Sew Knit Tops and Bottoms, Soft Dressing: Woven tops & bottoms, Sweaters, Knit and Woven Dresses, Jumpsuits, Rompers, Fleece Sets, Tween party dresses, Swimwear, and Underwear

Requirements:

Ability to shop market and identify trends, new fabrications/yarns, and key items.

Requires a keen eye for newness with ability to bring trends down market at affordable price points for accounts.

Ability to execute design, flat sketching, tech packs, cads, and trend/mood boards.

Detail Oriented with great follow-up and time management skills to ensure showroom samples, market presentations/cads, and production hand-offs are well executed in a timely manner for market appointments and deadlines.

Excellent communicator with internal and external partners:

Experience with daily communication with overseas sample rooms and suppliers for sample requests and fabric/yarn research

Team player adept at cooperation with internal partners in Production, Sourcing, Product Development, Sales, and Licensing departments

Growth Potential:

Develop communication skills to provide art direction to Artists

Culture Requirements:

Fast-paced – should be comfortable with switching gears from project to project.

Self-starter – someone who is willing to take initiative and has a natural attention to detail.

3-8 yrs experience.
