Designer Sleepwear - AmyColeConnect : Job Details

We are excited to invite anexperienced sleepwear designer to join our growing team. You'll be responsible for seasonal line creation and development from concept to production that align with the brand identity of high-profile Men's and Women's licensed brands Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, develop and present seasonal lounge / sleep collections.
• Research market trends and create shopping reports with a focus on an elevated aesthetic
• Responsible for silhouette and design development
• Determine overall design direction; concept, color, silhouette
• Drive design process; create sketches, execute fittings, detail tech packs, communicate with factories
• Comment on lab dips and strike offs - track approvals
• Work with overseas partners to develop fabrics and trims
• Participate in fittings and contribute to final product approval
• Manage and deliver to seasonal calendars and licensors' needs
• Collaborative design approach

Qualifications/Requirements

• 5-8 years lounge / sleep design experience preferred
• Knowledge of Women's and Men's lounge/sleep market trends
• Outstanding sketching and presentation skills
• Solid understanding of fabrics, finishes, details, trims, fit, and construction
• Expert Illustrator, Photoshop and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
