**** Rotational shifts (2nd, 3rd and including weekends - Evening and nights) in this 24/7 manufacturing facility.

*** 2 weeks of paid training by the client during 1st shift in the begining of the project.

We are recruiting a Local IT Technician to solve customer support issues on-site, at our customer's premises. You will be responsible for providing local support for all on-site employees and you will work along a team of skilled and motivated technicians! We also need you for projects where the preparation of hardware is needed. We are looking for an extremely proactive IT technician with a keen interest in technology, who can make suggestions for improvements and offer an opinion on new products or services.

* Technicians should be with at least 2+ years of experience in IT support.

* (Desirable) experience in a factory environment, remote support, and onsite support.

* Excellent customer orientation, flexibility, and problem-solving capabilities.

Scope:

On Site Support

On-Site Services include customer support for Service Requests including Incidents, Service Requests, IMAC/D, Project Support where local intervention is required.

The performance of these activities is commissioned by the End user via approved channels (Service Desk, Support Portal) and take place at the customer site either at the end user's desk or designated areas.

The required hardware is supplied by SWMA. The hardware repair is organized by Service Desk.

Support to computers in production line, laboratory, security areas and in general all computing equipment at the Site.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Face to Face IT support of users;
  • Hardware installation, movement and de-installation;
  • Diagnosing problems concerning personal hardware (PCs, laptops, printers, scanners etc.);
  • Maintain, analyze and solve end user computing problems both hardware and software;
  • System and application changes testing, scripts preparation in MS Windows 10 and MS Office 365 environment;
  • Install and set up equipment, cables, outlets and all other hardware required for implementing IMAC's.
  • Software, patches and updates installation using MS SCCM

Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a technical ICT environment, preferably in a Manufacturing based organization.
  • General End User technology knowledge
  • End User Workspace platforms (discovery, asset management, client management)
  • End User Microsoft platforms (Active Directory, Office, SCCM)
  • ITSM Tool Set (Ticket Management Software) preferred.
  • Soft skills: Planning and organizing; Attention to details; Problem solving; Analysis; Flexibility; Customer sensitivity: Technical writing skills.
  • Excellent English Language required, written and spoken.
