Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Systems Engineer with desktop support to join our team. The role involves providing technical support in a hybrid work model ensuring seamless operations and contributing to the company's technological advancements. The candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining system efficiency and user satisfaction.

Responsibilities

· Provide comprehensive desktop support to ensure smooth operation of computer systems.

· Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.

· Monitor system performance and implement necessary updates to enhance functionality.

· Collaborate with team members to develop and implement IT solutions.

· Conduct regular system maintenance to prevent potential issues.

· Assist in the deployment of new software and hardware.

· Ensure data security and integrity through regular backups and updates.

· Document technical issues and solutions for future reference.

· Offer remote support to users as needed ensuring minimal disruption to their work.

· Participate in the development of IT policies and procedures.

· Provide training and support to end-users to enhance their technical skills.

· Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

· Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT services and support.

Qualifications

· Possess a strong understanding of desktop support and troubleshooting techniques.

· Demonstrate proficiency in both hardware and software support.

· Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Show ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.

· Have strong communication skills to interact with users and team members.

· Display a proactive approach to system maintenance and updates.

· Experience with remote support tools and techniques is highly desirable.

Certifications Required

CompTIA A+ Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $[37,800 - 50,500] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
