One of our clients in the Charolette area is looking for a Help Desk Support Technician to join their team. This is going to be on site 5 days a week at the location below, please make sure that this is a commute is doable before applying. Looking for someone that has great communication skills!

Location: 4725 piedmont row drive suit 510 - Charlotte North Carolina - 28210

Salary: 55,000k and 58,000k - depends on experience.

6-month contract to hire- this will convert perm, looking for people that want stability.

  • 3 years of experience in an IT support or desktop support role
  • 3years of experience with Tier 1 troubleshooting (Cisco or Webex, Teams, Zoom)
  • Microsoft Office products - Experience with password resets and O365 troubleshooting
  • 3 years of experience with any ticketing system (Client uses Sys-Aid)
  • 3-5 years of experience with deskside support
  • Hardware setup, conference room set up, monitor/desk set up
  • Previous Audio/Visual technician experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong time management skills and ability to function at a high level

Day-to-day:

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Desktop Support Technician who can report on site 5 days a week and will function as IT support for the office. Responsibilities will include internal deskside support, in-office hardware set up, and the supporting of up to 200 internal employees. You will be joining a team to help support internal employees with various issues ranging from password resets, hardware support, O365 troubleshooting, VDI issues and some conference room set ups. You will be answering a ticketing queue via phone, email, and Sys-Aid. The ideal candidate needs to have good time management skills as they will have to prioritize in-office, deskside support before handling tickets. This position is set up as a 6-month contract to hire.
