Job Description :

* Answering basic technical support calls from employees, helping with refresh schedules, and setting up computers (lifting heavy weight) * Mostly working on the refresh team (grabbing old machines, setting up new machines, and following clear guidelines on how to set it up; will be trained on how to do this) * Examples of tickets they would be solving over the phone: Powersurge not working, Microsoft Office IM not working, browser issues, software investigations (seeing what software is installed on the machines they are setting up) etc. * Will be taking care of 5-10 tickets a day (60/40 split60% installing hardware/40% helpdesk), and are required to have high attention to detail when recording information on calls We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Required Skills & Experience -2-3 years Desktop support experience (over the phone and in-person) -Bachelors Degree -Laptop Refresh experience -Windows 10 or Windows 11 Upgrade experience -Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (likely around 15-20 lbs daily) -Experience troubleshooting on Windows -Strong communication / customer service skills Nice to Have Skills & Experience - Familiar with Higher Educational system (UIC is ideal) -Intune experience - A+ Certification - Experience with basic troubleshooting on Mac - Ticketing experience Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
