Job DescriptionOur client is a continually growing construction business currently serving customers in nine states. They supply systems for commercial concrete construction projects and are currently looking for a new Detailer/Project Coordinator to join their team.If you have experience in concrete or rebar detailing, want to work from home and are serious about career growth potential, this could be the opportunity for you! The Detailer/Project Coordinator's primary responsibility will be the production of installation drawings by interpreting and understanding architectural and structural plans outlining design concepts. The Detailer/Project Coordinator will also be responsible for every aspect of the submittal and production process. This includes preconstruction, logistics, material orders, document management, and supporting field personnel during installation. Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate submittal schedules and construction sequence after project assignment
  • Produce installation drawings and calculation packages to meet the submittal schedule
  • Distribute submittals to clients for approval
  • Modify drawings based on client and design team feedback
  • Coordinate material delivery schedules and produce material take-offs
  • Answer field questions and provide modification or repair documentation as required
  • Support multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Maintain current document sets of both the construction plans and shop drawings
  • Attend preconstruction meetings and conference calls as needed
  • Evaluate modified drawings (Supplemental Instructions, Construction Change Directives, and Requests for Information) against the project estimate and produce Change Orders

  • Strong goal-oriented focus

  • Strong attention to detail in interpretation and execution of job duties
  • Spatial aptitude, including visualization of multiple components in three-dimensional space
  • Time management skills, including ability to identify high-value tasks and prioritize accordingly
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational skills, including decision documentation and correspondence management
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft Office, and Revit
  • Reinforcing steel or post-tensioning experience
  • Reinforced concrete construction experience preferred
  • Commercial construction experience preferred
  • Effectively communicating with clients, vendors, team members and exterior stakeholders
  • Spanish fluency
