Required Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or directly related field and two years of experience related to assignment.

OR

• Equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties of the job.

Required Certifications:

• ITIL certification

• Certification in Peoplesoft application development or related technologies.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on PeopleSoft experience (2 Years)

• Experience with other ERP systems or enterprise-level application development. (2 Years)

• Experience with People Tools (People Code, Application Engine, Component Interface, etc.). (2 Years)

• Solid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts (2 Years)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Act as a primary technical resource for PeopleSoft incidents and service requests, collaborate with stakeholders to meticulously gather and analyze requirements for Peoplesoft application modifications.

• Design and develop customizations, integrations, and enhancements within the Peoplesoft environment.

• Assist in system upgrades, patches, and migrations as necessary.

• Familiarize yourself with various software products used across the city to identify potential interfaces to meet client needs.

• Write clean, efficient code that adheres to company standards and best practices.

• Conduct thorough unit testing and troubleshooting to ensure applications meet functional and performance requirements.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Understanding of Peoplesoft architecture, modules, and components.

• Proficiency in People Tools (People Code, Application Engine, Component Interface, etc.).

• Experience with Peoplesoft Fluid User Interface development is a plus.

• Solid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.

• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex problems and deliver creative solutions.

• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

• Familiarity with JavaScript scripting

• Ability to quickly learn new technologies

• Effective communication and collaborative skills

• Working knowledge of PeopleSoft or other ERP/HRIS systems

• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on solving complex problems.

• Demonstrate strong analytical abilities to identify potential issues and propose innovative solutions.

• Client is seeking a talented Peoplesoft Developer to join our dynamic team.

• Client recognized for its innovation, seeks a PeopleSoft Technology Analyst to be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing modifications to PeopleSoft Human Capital Management and Finance modules across various city departments.

• In addition to Peoplesoft experience, strong analysis skills, communication skills and creative problem-solving abilities are crucial for success in this role.

• As a member of our matrixed Center of Excellence, the ideal candidate will have knowledge of application configuration and development, a strong grasp of user and role security, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business staff.

Note - **THIS IS A TEMP TO PERM POSITION. After the initial contract engagement, the manager would like to hire the contractor full time. The salary for the full-time position is $90,000.00 per year.
