POSITION DESCRIPTION
NIF seeks an engaging, focused, and reliable professional to serve as a Development Associate and support our national fundraising efforts. The Development Associate will serve as the right hand to two Directors of Outreach and Major Gifts and a Development & Program Officer, providing invaluable support to their fundraising, public engagement, and community relations work in cities around the U.S. This position provides crucial administrative functions and is a key member of the National Outreach teams, actively supporting the growth of NIF's donor base and presence in cities around the country where NIF does not have on-site staff. The position will be divided such that approximately 50% of the time will be dedicated to national outreach in the eastern US region including Florida (NOEFL) and 50% to national outreach in the western US region (NOW).

This position reports to the Director of Outreach, Eastern US and the Director of Outreach, Western US.
LOCATION
This position must be based in the U.S. In cities where NIF has an office (New York, Washington, DC, Boston, and San Francisco), employees may work 1-2 days in the office, and other days from home. Some travel may be required for regional fundraising events.
SALARY AND COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $51,500 – $57,500 annually based on skill and experience.
