We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Development Officer to join our team and help us to advocate for and support our mission.

YOUR IMPACT AS: Development Officer

As a Development Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of our work by cultivating relationships, securing resources, and developing strategies that sustain and expand our programs. Your responsibilities will include building and nurturing connections with donors, foundations, and corporate partners; crafting compelling grant proposals and fundraising campaigns; and planning events that engage the community and inspire support. Working closely with a passionate and mission-driven team, you will help amplify our efforts to create lasting change for individuals and families in need

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

To thrive in this role, you should have a proven track record in development, fundraising, or a related field, ideally within the nonprofit sector. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as you'll need to connect with a wide range of stakeholders and inspire their support. Exceptional writing and communication abilities will enable you to craft persuasive proposals and messaging. Creativity and strategic thinking are key, as you'll be developing innovative solutions to advance our mission and commitment to equity and community empowerment
