DevOps/AWS Engineer - Software Concepts : Job Details

Key ResponsibilitiesCloud Infrastructure Management: Architect, design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable cloud environments using AWS services such as SageMaker, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Athena, Glue, and ECR.DevOps Automation: Develop and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and other relevant tools to support continuous integration and deployment.Infrastructure as Code: Implement and manage infrastructure through code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, ensuring efficient and reliable infrastructure provisioning.Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor system performance using AWS CloudWatch and other tools, optimize cloud environments for efficiency, cost, and performance.Security Management: Manage IAM policies and roles, ensuring the highest level of security for AWS resources.Collaboration: Work closely with software developers and other stakeholders to integrate solutions and drive operational excellence across the entire software development lifecycle.Scripting and Automation: Write scripts in Python, Shell, and SQL to automate infrastructure tasks, streamline workflows, and improve operational efficiency.Qualifications5+ years of experience as a professional software developer or DevOps engineer.Proven experience deploying solutions/applications in the AWS cloud environment.Strong scripting skills with proficiency in Python, Shell, and SQL.Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.Familiarity with AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Athena, Glue, ECR).Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.Familiarity with monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch.Experience with IAM policies and role management in AWS.Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.v
