DevOps Engineer - Fully remote - Motion Recruitment : Job Details

Seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS, EKS (Kubernetes), Terraform, and PHP to join the dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with developers and operations teams to deploy, manage, and scale the cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration across environments. You will play a key role in optimizing and automating our deployment pipeline and maintaining the stability, security, and scalability of the cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Kubernetes & EKS: Configure and maintain Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use Terraform to define, manage, and provision infrastructure, implementing best practices and reusable modules
• Automation & CI/CD: Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient code deployment and testing
• Monitoring and Performance: Implement monitoring and alerting to maintain uptime and improve performance
• Collaboration: Work closely with software engineering teams, leveraging PHP expertise to support application deployment and configuration

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
• Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.) and cloud architecture
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and managing clusters in AWS EKS
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for IaC and infrastructure automation
• Familiarity with PHP and its deployment in production environments
• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch
• Scripting experience (Bash, Python, or similar) is a plus
