Devops Engineer - Insight Global : Job Details

Insight Global is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join one of our largest financial service clients. This individual will be responsible for working on the deployment of an Equity Cash Trading platform within the firm. This project will be heavily focused on utilizing Python and Jenkins to automate and build CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, tools such as XL Release and Artifactory will be used by this individual. It is expected that this person will be on-site 3x/week in Midtown Manhattan. * Experience working on trading platforms within the Financial Services industry. * Familiarity with financial market systems and trading operations. * Knowledge of containerization technologies (e. g., Docker, Kubernetes) * Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e. g., Terraform, Ansible) * 12-15 years of experience in DevOps Engineering within an enterprise environment * Strong proficiency in Python, including creating new code and improving existing codebases. * Extensive experience implementing and enhancing CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery processes. * Advanced knowledge of Jenkins for deployment automation * Practical experience with XL Release platform for automating and managing software release processes. * Proficiency in using Artifactory for managing and comparing configuration files, ensuring consistency across environments.
