DevOps Engineer - PTR Global : Job Details

Job Title: Cloud DevSecOps Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC., Atlanta, GA., Birmingham, AL., or Nashville, TN.

Duration: 6 Month of Project (Temp to Hire)

Pay Rate: $75/hr. $85/hr. on W2 (without benefit) [based on experience]

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support cloud migration efforts, particularly in AWS environments.
• Develop and maintain automation pipelines using DevOps practices.
• Work with AWS services, including Lambda.
• Utilize OpenShift for container orchestration and management.
• Write and maintain Python and C# code for automation and application development.
• Manage continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Harness or Jenkins.
• Work with Docker containers to ensure smooth development, testing, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate on API development and ensure API functionality as part of the DevOps process.

Top Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering.
• Proven experience with cloud migration projects.
• Proficiency in AWS and Lambda for cloud-based applications.
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift, Python, and C#.
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Harness or Jenkins.
• Expertise in Docker and container management.
• Experience in API development or integrating APIs as part of the DevOps pipeline.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SQL.
• Additional experience in Python and C# development.

Interview Process:

• 30-minute screening or introductory interview to assess fit and behavior.
• 30-minute technical interview with the technical panel to evaluate relevant skills and experience.
