DevOps Engineer - Lighthouse Technology Services : Job Details

*Hybrid Contract Opportunity* Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our financial client to fill their DevOps Engineer role! This is a 6+ month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo, NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. What You'll Be Doing:

• Develop and Maintain CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like GitLab to ensure seamless code deployment and integration.
• Manage Containerization and Orchestration: Oversee the deployment and management of containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift to ensure scalability and reliability of banking applications.
• Implement Security Measures: Conduct security scanning and vulnerability assessments using tools like SAST, DAST, and SonarQube to ensure the security and compliance of banking software.
• Configuration and Infrastructure Management: Utilize configuration management tools like Ansible to automate and manage infrastructure, ensuring efficient and consistent deployment across various environments.
• Collaborate on Cloud Integration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate and manage banking applications on Azure cloud, leveraging cloud services to enhance system performance and reliability.

What You'll Need to Have:

• Banking industry experience preferred
• Proven experience with 2 or more programming languages like java, dot net, python, angular etc
• Proven experience with version control tools, CICD pipeline creation in tools like Gitlab
• Knowledge and extensive work experience on binary artifact repository management tools like artifactory, nexus, etc
• Proven experience in containerization management: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
• Proven experience in configuration management tools like Ansible
• Good understanding of networking
• Proven experience in security scanning/vulnerability tools: SAST, DAST
• Proven experience in static code analysis tools: SonarQube
• Proven experience in Linux based systems
• Good understanding of Rest API and various system integration
• Knowledge and/or experience in Azure Cloud
